Interviewer Terms and Conditions
THE FOLLOWING ARE THE TERMS OF USE OF THE WEBSITE ROUNDONE.IN ("WEBSITE")
AND CONSTITUTE A CONTRACT BETWEEN YOU ("INTERVIEWER") AND INFO EDGE (INDIA) LIMITED ("ROUND ONE")
- Round One offers persons desirous of being employed in an organization ("Candidate"), the
opportunity of having an interaction over the telephone ("Interview")
with an employee of that organization ("Interviewer") with the prospect
of being recommended for a placement in that organization.
- At the time of signing up, the Interviewer may choose a password of his choice, subject to availability and technical feasibility, in order to enable the Interviewer to access his account. The user name shall be the e-mail id submitted by the
Interviewer. The Interviewer must also fill in the data about himself in the signup form. The data marked with "*" in the signup form shall be displayed at all times on the Website and shall be freely visible to all visitors of the
Website. The data submitted by the Interviewer may also be used by Round One
for sending newsletter and / or information to the Interviewer and for the
purposes of making payments to the Interviewer. The sole responsibility of safe
custody of the password shall be that of the Interviewer and Round One shall
not be responsible for data loss/theft of data/corruption of data or the wrong
usage/misuse of the password or of the data submitted by the Interviewer and
any damage or leak of information and its consequential usage by any third
party. Round One shall, nonetheless, take all reasonable precautions at its end
to ensure that there is no leakage/misuse of the password granted to the
Interviewer.
- The Interviewer will receive a telephone call(s)
from Round One to verify the mobile phone number provided by the
Interviewer. An Interviewer will be allowed to interview Candidates only
after their mobile phone number has been verified by Round One. Upon
verification of the mobile phone number of an Interviewer, the Interviewer
shall be allotted a code number ("Code") by Round One
- The Interviewer shall
update the number of Interviews that he shall be conducting in any week at
least 4 days before the first day of such week.
- Once an Interview(s)
with the Interviewer is purchased by the Candidate, Round One shall provide the
Candidate with the details of the Interviewer as mentioned in clause 2 above.
The Interviewer expressly agrees to the sharing of his contact details with the
Candidate.
- The Interviewer shall
not refuse to interview a Candidate whose name is forwarded to the Interviewer
by Round One.
- Once an Interview has been purchased by a
Candidate, Round One shall provide the Candidate with the Code for the
Interviewer(s) selected by the Candidate. The Candidate can use the Code to
reach the Interviewer on the mobile phone number provided by the Interviewer by
calling Round One's and the call will be forwarded by Round One's call
forwarding system to the Interviewer. Calls will only be forwarded between 6
p.m. and 10 pm on weekdays and 10 am to 10 pm on weekends. Round One will not
share the mobile phone number provided by the Interviewer with the Candidate.
The Candidate will be able to reach the Interviewer during a period of two
weeks prior to the beginning of the week for which the Interview has been
purchased. The Candidate will suggest to the Interviewer the days and times on
which the Candidate wishes to have the Interview. The Candidate will suggest
time slots between 9 am and 9 pm (not including the interviewers office hours)
on working days during the specified week. In case the Interviewer and the
Candidate are unable to agree on a time slot for the Interview before the start
of the week for which the Interview has been purchased, the Interviewer must
inform Round One of this fact within 1 day of the start of the week for which
the Interview has been purchased by the Candidate
- No fees shall be paid
to the Interviewer in case he fails to conduct the Interview at the time agreed
between him and a Candidate. In case of a second default by the Interviewer in
conducting the Interview at the time agreed between him and a Candidate, the
entire amount standing to the credit of the Interviewer in his account shall be
forfeited. In case of a third default by the Interviewer in conducting the
Interview at the time agreed between him and a Candidate, the entire amount
standing to the credit of the Interviewer in his account shall be forfeited and
the Interviewer shall be barred from the Website and the agreement with Round
One shall stand terminated.
- The obligation of
Round One is only to arrange for an Interview between the Interviewer and the
Candidate and to pay to the Interviewer his dues in accordance with these terms
of use. For the convenience of the Interviewer, Round One has an arrangement
with a third party for a dial in conference facility. In case the Interviewer
wishes to utilize this facility, he shall be allotted a telephone number for
this purpose and this number shall be communicated all Candidates who choose to
be interviewed by the Interviewer. Use of the dial in conference facility is at
the sole discretion of the Interviewer. The dial in facility is being offered
by Round One without any charge and Round One neither guarantees nor offers any
warranty as to the efficiency or availability of the dial in conference
facility at any particular time. The onus of conducting the Interview at the
scheduled time is of the Interviewer irrespective of whether the dial in
conference facility is operational or not. No other facility whatsoever shall
be provided by Round One for the Interview
- The duration of the
Interview is the sole discretion of the Interviewer but Round One expects that
the Interviewer shall conduct the Interview for such reasonable length time as
may be required in order to objectively assess the Candidate's suitability for
the position the Candidate is interested in.
- Use of
unparliamentarily language or any other improper behaviour by the Interviewer
shall not be accepted. In case of a complaint of use of unparliamentarily
language or any other improper behaviour by the Interviewer, Round One may
forfeit the entire amount standing to the credit of the Interviewer in his
account and bar the Interviewer from the Website. Round One reserves the right to record any call or Interviewer for quality assurance purposes.
- The Interviewer
shall provide feedback of the Interview as per the form available on the
Website within 7 days of the Interview. In case the Interviewer fails to
provide the feedback within 7 days of the Interview no fees whatsoever for the
Interview in question shall be paid to the Interviewer. In case the Interviewer
fails to provide feedback for 2 or more Interviews, the entire amount standing
to the credit of the Interviewer in his account shall be forfeited and Round
One shall be entitled to delete the account of the Interviewer without any
further notice.
- 12. In case the
Interviewer finds a Candidate suitable for a placement in his organization, the
Interviewer shall take steps in accordance with the policies of his
organization to forward the name / resume of the Candidate within his
organization. The Interviewer is also at liberty to forward the name / resume
of the Candidate to other organizations / parties, as he may deem fit.
- Any use of
unparliamentarily language or any other improper behaviour by the Candidate
should be reported to Round One immediately and in any case along with the
feedback.
- Payments for the services offered for Round One shall
be made by cheque drawn in favour of the Interviewer and the cheque shall be
sent to the postal address submitted by the Interviewer. All cheques shall be payable
at Delhi and outstation charges, if any, levied shall be to the account of the
Interviewer. All cheques shall be sent during the first week of every alternate
month (i.e. January, March, May, July, September and November) and shall for
the amount reflected in the account of the Interviewer on the 25th of the month
previous to the one in which the cheque is sent.
- Round One shall pay fees to the Interviewer ("Interview
Fees") as per the rate separately agreed between Round One and the
Interviewer. Interview Fees shall be credited to the account of the Interviewer
within 7 days of the Interviewer providing the feedback, subject to no
complaint being received from the Candidate that the Interview in question has
not taken place. Notwithstanding anything else contained elsewhere in these
terms of use, no fees whatsoever shall be paid to the Interviewer in case the
Interview does not take place for any reason whatsoever.
- Round One shall also
pay a performance bonus ("Performance Bonus") to the Interviewer as
follows:
(i) A sum of 100 Round
One Points shall be paid for each feedback rated as 'excellent' by the
Candidate.
The Performance Bonus shall be paid by means of
crediting the amount to the account of the Interviewer and such credit shall be
made within 5 working days of receiving the rating of the Candidate.
- Round One shall also
pay a referral bonus ("Referral Bonus") to the Interviewer as follows:
(i) For each person
invited by the Interviewer and approved to act as an interviewer by Round One,
the Interviewer shall be paid a sum of 100 Round One Points.
The Referral Bonus shall be paid by means of
crediting the amount to the account of the Interviewer and such credit shall be
made within 5 working days days of the relevant Interview and feedback fees
being credited to the account of the invitee.
- Round One points can be redeemed only in the same calendar year in which they are earned. Unredeemed Points will expire at the end of the year.
- Round One reserves
the right to modify all or any fees and / or bonus without assigning any reason
and without any prior notice.
- The Interviewer
undertakes to use the website for the purposes stated herein only and any
commercial or other derivative use of the Website without prior written consent
from Round One is prohibited.
- No material or information
that is unlawful, or which may potentially be perceived as being harmful,
threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, libelous, vulgar, obscene, or
racially, ethnically, or otherwise objectionable shall be uploaded by the
Interviewer.
- The Interviewer
hereby undertakes to indemnify Round One for all losses incurred by it due to
any false, distorted, manipulated, defamatory, libelous, vulgar, obscene,
fraudulent or misleading facts or otherwise objectionable data uploaded on the
Website by the Interviewer.
- The Interviewer
hereby specifically undertakes that he, at all times, comply with the
requirements of the law for the time being in force, including, without
limitation, the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules and regulations
thereunder, while using the Website. The Interviewer hereby agrees that in case
of breach of the above condition, he alone shall be responsible for the
consequences thereof and that he alone shall be liable for civil and criminal
liability that may arise.
- The Interviewer
undertakes not to introduce, post, or transmit information or software, which
contains a computer virus, or a contaminant, worm or other harmful components
on the Website.
- While Round One
makes best efforts to do so, it does not warrant that the Website is free of
any operational errors nor does it warrant that it will be free of any virus,
computer contaminant, worm, or other harmful components.
- Round One shall not
be liable for any loss or damage sustained by reason of any disclosure
(inadvertent or otherwise) of any information concerning the Interviewer's
account and / or information relating to or regarding online transactions using
credit cards / debit cards and / or their verification process and particulars
nor for any error, omission or inaccuracy with respect to any information so
disclosed and used whether or not in pursuance of a legal process or otherwise.
- Round One offers no
guarantees of server uptime or applications working properly.
- Round One reserves
its right to amend / alter or change all or any of the terms of use at any time
without any prior notice. All terms of use whether specifically mentioned or
not shall be deemed to be included if any reference is made to them.
- The services
provided by the Website do not constitute a relation of agency between the
Interviewer and Round One.
- These terms of use
regulate the usage of the Website and any person using the Website in violation
of the same shall render himself liable to appropriate action under the law.
- Round One would not
be held liable for loss of any data, technical or otherwise, or particulars
supplied by the Interviewer due to acts of god as well as reasons beyond its
control like corruption of data or delay or failure to perform as a result of
any cause(s) or conditions that are beyond Round One's reasonable control
including but not limited to strikes, riots, civil unrest, Govt. policies,
tampering of data by unauthorized persons like hackers, distributed denial of
service attacks, virus attacks, war and natural calamities.
- These terms of use
and the contract between Round One and the Candidate shall be governed by
Indian law. Courts at New Delhi, India, shall have exclusive jurisdiction to
entertain any dispute arising from or in relation to these terms of use and the
contract between Round One and the Candidate, and no other courts shall have
jurisdiction.
- The Interviewer
hereby confirms that his contract of employment and / or policies of his
employer do not in any manner restrain him from performing his obligations in
accordance with these terms of use.
- The Website may
contain advertising/other material that has been submitted to Round One by
third parties. Round One shall not be responsible for any claim, error, omission
or inaccuracy in advertising material and the obligation of ensuring that the
advertising/other material complies with the law is exclusively of the
advertisers and not of Round One.
- Round One shall have
no liability to the Interviewer for any interruption or delay in access to the
Website irrespective of the reason.
- Any violation of any
of these terms of use by the Interviewer will result in the termination of his
account.
- Other than
forwarding the Interviewer's contact details to the Candidate, Round One does
not share any personally identifiable data of the Interviewer. The Interviewer
hereby confirms that he has no objection whatsoever to Round One forwarding his
contact details to the Candidate(s).
- Notwithstanding
anything to the contrary in these terms of use, the total liability of Round
One shall in no case exceed beyond the fees and bonus payable under these terms
of use.
- The Interviewer
agrees that he shall not in any manner transfer or assign his rights or
obligations under these terms of use. Round One may, however, transfer or
assign all of its rights and obligations under these terms of use, without any
notice to the Interviewer, to any entity whether or not such entity is
currently in existence.

In order to redeem rewards, interviewers must complete all identity verification checks that Round One will require,
including authorization of the Round One LinkedIn application.

Rewards are non-transferable and shall only be made in the interviewer's name.
- The Interviewer
shall indemnify and hold harmless the Round One, its affiliates, and their
respective officers, directors, employees and agents, from and against any demands,
liabilities, claims and actions, including without limitation any professional
and legal and accounting fees, resulting from or relating to (i) any material
uploaded by the Interviewer on the Website; or (ii) breach by the Interviewer
of these terms of use; or (iii) any allegation by the employer of the
Interviewer that the Interviewer's contract of employment and / or policies of
the employer restrain the Interviewer from performing his obligations in
accordance with these terms of use.
